This is an opportunity for a highly technical, customer-centered product leader to work at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, AI, data, and applied science. You will partner closely with customer stakeholders, engineering, design, and OCI leadership to convert complex requirements into a compelling product vision, an actionable roadmap, and measurable customer outcomes. This role follows a hybrid working model, with an expectation to work from our Reading or London office as required.

Product Analysis – Market Analysis:
- Champions the prioritization of products/features for OCI AI and cloud platform capabilities based on business value, technical feasibility, customer needs, and broader market opportunity.
- Works deeply with strategic enterprise customers, including scientific and research organizations, to align customer requirements, market opportunities, internal stakeholders, and Oracle’s product strategy.
- Champions the analysis of market trends, emerging technologies, customer requirements, and the competitive landscape across cloud infrastructure, data platforms, AI/ML, scientific computing, and related technologies.
- Leads engagements with strategic customers, prospective customers, partners, and industry stakeholders to gather market intelligence and identify opportunities for the product portfolio.
- Identifies reusable and scalable platform capabilities behind customer-specific requirements, enabling solutions to expand across additional customers, industries, and use cases.
Product Analysis – Solution Identification:
- Establishes strategies for identifying customers’ unmet or emerging needs through detailed discovery of workflows, user journeys, data flows, technical environments, and operational processes.
- Develops clear problem statements and data-driven hypotheses for complex AI, cloud, data, and platform capabilities.
- Owns and champions the solutioning process by partnering strategically with customers, engineering, architecture, design, security, operations, and other internal and external stakeholders.
- Spearheads the evaluation and validation of solution options, technical trade-offs, and platform abstractions to determine whether to enhance existing capabilities or introduce new products/features.
- Leads the creation and maintenance of complex product artifacts, including product requirements, workflows, functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Develops strong familiarity with customer technology environments, including cloud infrastructure, data platforms, AI/ML, automation, laboratory, research, and related enterprise systems.
Product Ownership – Product Development and Roadmapping:
- Drives the product lifecycle for OCI AI and cloud platform capabilities, from customer discovery and definition through development, launch, operation, and continuous improvement.
- Owns and maintains a multi-phase product roadmap, balancing near-term strategic customer requirements with Oracle’s longer-term platform vision and broader market opportunities.
- Establishes feature requirements, priorities, success criteria, and release objectives in close partnership with engineering and architecture teams.
- Takes a leadership role in driving delivery excellence, managing dependencies, technical trade-offs, risks, and complex issues to ensure successful product outcomes.
- Interprets customer feedback, Service Requests, bugs, product telemetry, usage trends, operational data, and market insights to drive prioritization and product decisions.
- Sets expectations for product quality through the creation and review of product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and release objectives.
- Reviews and shapes roadmap priorities against customer evidence, business impact, technical feasibility, platform strategy, and defined Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
- Drives rapid but disciplined iteration from early concepts through production-ready capabilities, maintaining strong standards for scalability, security, reliability, usability, and operational excellence.
Product Ownership – Product Leadership and Influence:
- Acts as an innovation leader within OCI, setting product vision and strategic direction for AI and cloud platform capabilities.
- Directs product development to deliver exceptional customer experiences while creating reusable, configurable, and scalable OCI capabilities.
- Champions agile, continuous-delivery, and customer-driven product development practices that enable rapid learning and iteration.
- Develops product positioning, value propositions, and adoption hypotheses for target customers and market segments.
- Provides product leadership in complex and ambiguous environments, creating clarity, momentum, and alignment across cross-functional teams.
Alignment and Collaboration:
- Drives strategic alignment across engineering, architecture, design, operations, security, sales, customer success, and executive stakeholders.
- Anticipates and addresses stakeholder concerns using customer evidence, technical understanding, market insights, and data-driven recommendations.
- Guides collaboration with engineering leaders and architects to define product scope, evaluate technical trade-offs, manage dependencies, and execute solutions tied to OKRs and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Takes ownership of success criteria and performance metrics across product capabilities, including adoption, customer satisfaction, workflow efficiency, platform reliability, feature usage, and business value.
- Communicates product strategy, customer insights, roadmap decisions, delivery status, dependencies, and risks clearly to technical teams, executives, and customers.

- Champions customer needs throughout the product lifecycle, proactively identifying and addressing complex and evolving customer requirements.

Product Release – Go-to-Market:
- Leads the development of product and release overviews, field presentations, demonstrations, and supporting materials for new OCI platform capabilities.
- Identifies and supports strategic early adopters to validate product capabilities, gather actionable feedback, and refine solutions.
- Drives the development of clear product and user documentation in partnership with relevant technical teams.
- Defines and tracks product metrics to monitor adoption, feature usage, customer satisfaction, workflow efficiency, reliability, and business impact.
- Presents product capabilities, customer use cases, roadmap direction, and demonstrations to customers, partners, field teams, and executive stakeholders.
- Helps establish repeatable customer-engagement, product-discovery, release, and go-to-market patterns as capabilities expand beyond initial strategic customers.
