Are you ready to take flight in a dynamic and fast-paced aviation industry? As a global leader in aviation services, Swissport provides Ground Handling, Cargo Handling, and Passenger Services to over 300 million passengers annually. Our mission is simple – “To provide the aviation industry with consistent and tailor-made solutions around the globe, for a better customer experience.”
We believe that our people are what differentiates us from our competition. At Swissport, we are driven by our core values of Show You Care, Do the Right Things and Win as a Team, and we are currently seeking dedicated individuals, who align with these values, to join our team at various locations across the globe.
The Workshop Manager is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and operation of the GSE workshop, ensuring maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with company, manufacturer and regulatory requirements.
The role provides leadership to the workshop team and holds accountability for preventative and corrective maintenance delivery, the on-time completion of Planned Maintenance Inspections (PMIs), Maximo work-order accuracy, contractor performance and effective spare parts management. Working closely with operational and maintenance stakeholders, the Workshop Manager manages workshop priorities, resources and performance to maximise the reliability, availability and operational readiness of the Ground Support Equipment fleet.
You will be a hands-on and experienced workshop leader with a strong mechanical background and the ability to lead teams in a fast-paced operational environment. You will be organised, safety-focused and confident managing competing priorities while maintaining high standards of equipment reliability and workshop performance.
This is an opportunity to lead the GSE workshop, develop a capable and engaged maintenance team, and drive improvements in fleet safety, reliability and availability within a fast-paced aviation environment.
At Swissport, we believe in diversity, equal opportunity, and the power of our values to drive our success. We are committed to providing a workplace that fosters inclusion and where all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, colour, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
