Advisor-sales education

This position will be domiciled at a FedEx Freight location in MHQ-Memphis, TN. You will be required to work at a FedEx Freight Location several times per week.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Leads the design and implementation of advanced sales training strategies. Acts as a consultant to sales leadership, ensuring training programs drive performance and align with business goals. Lead enterprise-level training initiatives with broad impact across multiple sales teams or regions. Provides strategic input and guidance to leadership and mentors junior staff. Operates with a high degree of autonomy and influence.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Design comprehensive training curricula for various sales roles.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance sales effectiveness.
• Analyze performance data to refine training strategies.
• Mentor junior team members and oversee content development.
• Drive adoption of digital learning tools and platforms.
• Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Education, or related field.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

Five (5) years in training, sales support, or instructional design.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Deep knowledge of sales strategy and go-to-market models.
• Advanced content creation and instructional design skills.
• Strong leadership and project management capabilities.
• Ability to influence and collaborate across departments.
• Strong understanding of sales methodologies.
• Excellent facilitation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

JOB CONDITIONS:

Some travel required.

PREFERRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:

• Sales experience, preferably in B2B or consultative selling.
• Experience facilitating instructor-led and virtual training.
• Strong knowledge of core sales skills and sales processes.
• Ability to translate concepts into practical, real-world application.
• Strong presentation, communication, project management, and facilitation skills.
• Experience with CRM/sales tools; freight or logistics knowledge is a plus.
