As a Culinary Research & Development intern, you will work alongside of the R&D team to understand how to setup the lab and individual stations according to upcoming projects. You will be responsible for performing all tasks as guided in a sanitary and timely manner, maintain an organized work area and lab notebook, assist / organize sensory tastings, and assist in organizing nutritional and specification information. You must demonstrate flexibility while working on projects and deadlines, follow recipes and packaging specifications, and work with cross functional teams and communicate positively.

Compensation: This internship offers a starting pay range of $20.00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on academic year, qualifications, experience, and skills relevant to the role.

Qualifications

• Current Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Culinary, Food Science or related field.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
• Ability to exercise independent judgment
